Collaboration builds successful programs. However, urban forestry managers often operate with minimal staff or overhead support. In response, the Urban Forestry Consortium brings members together through training opportunities, cooperative purchasing contracts, and local conferences. Participants gain valuable information from technical experts and from each other. By engaging in a regional community of professionals, Urban Forestry Consortium members have access to a network of shared experiences to help direct future management objectives.
